I have been doing some research for my assignment ‘Deconstructing an Image’ and have found some quite significant and interesting photojournalist pieces. there are quite a lot of photos that I liked from a photojournalist called Robert Doisneau who took a great image of a couple sitting on a bench with a barbed wire fence in front of them. Charles C Ebbets took a really great set of iconic american photography, the most noted being of the row of workers sitting on a beam of an unbuilt skyscraper having lunch together. it emphasises the complete lack of safety that this time period (taken in the 1930’s). Malcome Brown is also within this gallery, who is known for taking photos from the Vietnam War. I really thought that the image of the Monk Quang Duc’s immolation in protest was extremely iconic and is one of my favourite images so far.
